The Court has asked the panel of judges to redo the map and, rather than crafting an entirely new map, to base its map on the one initially drawn by the Texas legislature.

Gallego for Congress campaign out-raises Canseco

SAN ANTONIO - The Gallego for Congress campaign continues to gain momentum in efforts to unseat Republican Rep. Francisco "Quico" Canseco of the 23rd Congressional District.

According to reports filed with the Federal Election Commission, the campaign of current state Rep. Pete Gallego, D-Alpine, raised $25,899.96 more than Canseco despite collecting contributions only in the last three weeks of the federal quarterly reporting period.
