Chairman Gallego holds Criminal Jurisprudence hearing

The House Committee on Criminal Jurisprudence held its first hearing to discuss appropriate procedures for presenting scientific evidence during the trial of criminal cases. The committee only heard invited testimony from a range of people, some to speak were, Professor Wellborn, Sam Bassett former chair of the Forensic Science Commission, and new Chairman John Bradley. The hearing was not one of the interim charges issued by the Speaker, but an important issue in the state that falls in the committee's jurisdiction. Rep.
